Counselling is a valuable tool in treating all kinds of mental health issues. There are many different counselling methods and variations that can be used which can be tailored to each persons individual need.
Some clients are comfortable just being heard by their therapist whilst others may be seeking a transformative process by using tools that are drawn from a variety of interventions.
Techniques can be drawn from various approaches. Some examples are:
